A Mother and her Children*
This fantastic photograph was submitted by: Rebecca Henderson and came from the trunk of Mary Stockdale Allen, and was identified by and elderly family member. In fact-the woman seated with her children was the daughter of Mary Stockdale Allens second husband John Allen. Her name was John Lee Allen Jones her children were Dorothy, Frankie, George, and Velda, of PA. This photograph was probably taken in the 1920s early 30s.

This photograph was submitted by: Rebecca Henderson and came from the trunk of Mary Stockdale Allen, and was Identified as John Lee Allen Jones. Discovered 10/04 that the background was the same as in the photograph, A Mother and her Children, as with the subject.



Uncle Tex*
Submitted by: CWarren, This photograph was identified by A.Thomas. His name was Elmer Osborne of Akron, Ohio. Born in Houston Texas 1906 he died in 1970 with no known relatives. He worked for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. He was a dear and close friend of Annabelle Simmons. Uncle Tex had family!

Pretty Lady*
Submitted by. R. Henderson, This Photograph came from the trunk of Mary Stockdale Allen, identified as her sister Lois Stockdale Brown, of SC. The background provided the clue. She and sister Dorothy were the only two women in the Stockdale family, that served in the US Military around 1944.
